should i pursue my job application overseas with one doubtful company?

I was applying online to this particular compay. just 2 days before I received an email confirming a work slot for me as Office Staff in UK. Upon receiving the email, I checked the companmy in the internet. I gathered that it was not listed in POEA,The website was even launched just last week. What made me suspicious was when I called this the number they gave. The one who answered the phone was so unprofessional, judging from the way she speaks. she sounds like bisaya and even like a katulong ( not that I’m exaggerating or I want to put down maids). I was talking to her Engliish and cant seem to understand what I am babbling about. She was jittery too in answering plain questions like where’s the address of the company. The company requires 3800 as training fee (2-day training) at Flyff Traning and Review Center. well, money, is hard to earn these days especially for me who earns just a pittance. that all applicants were shortlisted too in jobstreet. please help.

    No! theres thousands of jobs abroad please go for a safe trusted company! you will find one soon I promise

    What type of company makes a new employee pay for his training, ridiculous. It is a con, all the harder to catch them too – with them being abroad.

    It looks very doubtful. If I were you, I would just forget about it and look for other job. However, if you are still interested, investigate more about the company first until there is solid proof that the whole thing is genuine.

    try find some other opportunity, don’t take the risk with some unknown company

    Well, I was going to tell you that you’re about to be sold into white slavery, but as I read it, maybe all they want is to steal $3800 from you and let you go to a strange country and be stranded there with no way out.

    Now, there is NO reputable company that demands a $3,800 training fee.

    You’ve mentioned all the red flags. Don’t ignore them. No matter what you wish, that job is a scam.

    Hi,

    To spot ligitemacy, address is no. 1 priority on my list. PO Box will not do good for me. If they don’t have a place of business, where do you think they do it?

    Second is, the reason I am looking for a job, because I need money, so therefore, I will not apply there because I am already disqualified because i don’t have money up front.

    If they really is a business that needed employee or workers, they will fly people free, they will offer training free, they will interview quickly free and they go to your place and put an ad in your local newspaper – this will save them a lot of money.

    NO! please do not pay money upfront to anyone ..exspecially for only 2 days of training(does that sound right to you?)…you are a future victim of fraud..my suggestion is to find out if they are with the BBB or have business partners to talk to…this sounds PERFECTLY like fraud…say u want training 1st then u pay the FOUR GRAND after…

    i also received emails like yours. I am sure we applied in the same company. i called-up flyff training but the person i was able to talked to is a professional guy.i am conducting an investigation right now about the company and flyff. So far, I also have the feeling of doubt.
    How did you know that the company’s website was just launched last week?I want to believe because there are some errors in their links, it seems that it is not yet organized. Would you mind giving me or post your email here so that we can help each other in finding out if the company’s operation is legal or not.thanks! i am planning to go to flyff on monday, oct 22 for further investigation.

    Hi, i also received the same job opportunity in UK with Flyff Training & Review Center. However i haven’t called to their office yet, i am also doubtful with the job because when I e-mailed my resume using my jobstreet account I am not applying literaly for UK.
    I feel scam for the “3800 payment”..
    pls guys update me about your investigation because I am far from manila. It will be a waste of money if I personally go there to find answers. Lets help each other.. Tnx
